Location – CAPE ST FRANCIS, SOUTH AFRICA 34°12’33’’S 24°50’15’’E
Notes – A lesson learnt – You don’t always have to travel far or dive deep, sometimes it’s right in front of you! I was diving off Seal Point looking for octopus, always tempted to dive deeper and further out. On my way back to shore, in the shallows, I spotted this octopus sitting out in the open, it was a tough battle!
Recipe – I printed this octopus immediately after the dive and then made an octopus risotto paired with a glass of Creation Elation – Chardonnay Pinot Noir MCC. Dolce fa niente!
