Description
Location – HERMANUS, SOUTH AFRICA 34°24’40”S 19°16’41”E
Notes – The sea was calm after a week of intense storms. I wasn’t expecting much on this dive. The reef had been covered up by sand and my usual hunting ground was a very different landscape. I had to go on feel. Everything came together beautifully when I least expected it.
Recipe – I made carpaccio di polipo with this octopus, topped with tomato and fried capers, dressed with homemade vinaigrette. Served with a glass of Creation Cool Climate Chenin Blanc. Buon appetito!
