Description
Location – Cape St Francis, South Africa. 34°12’46”S 24°49’52”E
Notes – My son Fabio and I, spent the day diving and exploring the Wildside of Cape St Francis together. It was a very low spring tide, so we had access to areas not often fished. We caught this octopus together, then printed it using it’s ink and blood from the liver. A beautiful day that a father will cherish forever!
Recipe – Slow cook the octopus in tomato, garlic, chilli and olive oil. Serve with spaghetti and Pane di Mare ciabatta. Accompany with a cold glass of Strandveld Skaamgesiggie bubbles. Buon appetito!
